All of our canvas work is done locally, on-site, and never subcontracted. No job is too small or too large.
You choose the color, fabric and texture. We work with marine-grade fabrics from Sunbrella, Stamoid and Serge Ferrari, and clear vinyl enclosures are available.
A Charlotte Sun article about Omni Marine pointed out that custom canvas and cushion work is a large part of what Omni does, including a lot of work for the local marinas, and that Omni will measure at your dock, or pick the boat up and bring it to the shop, for a custom fit.
Custom-fitted boat covers · Boat seats, cushions & upholstery · Bimini tops, T-top canvas & enclosures
Every cover is cut and sewn for your boat, here in our shop, so it fits the shape of your boat, its console, and any T-top or tower.
We make full covers for boats in the water or on a trailer, covers that fit under a T-top or around a tower, and console covers. If your old cover is worn out, we can make you a new one.

From a single seat cushion to every seat on the boat: leaning post cushions and bolsters, bench seats, diamond-stitched or striped designs, or a clean match to what you have now.
Torn or worn cushions can often be repaired instead of replaced. Send a photo and we’ll tell you which makes sense.

A new bimini top or boat canopy, or new T-top canvas when the old one is faded or torn. We also make clear enclosures, console covers for your helm, and sunshades, like a bow shade for the front of the boat.

Capt. Van Hubbard has been a fishing guide since the 1970s, co-founded the Florida Guides Association and has written a fishing column for the Boca Beacon, on and off, since 1988. In a fishing report on CyberAngler, he wrote that thanks to the “new lighter colored canvas by Omni Marine of Englewood” on his T-top, “we are comfortable most of the time.”
The owners of the trawler Choices wrote on their blog, Choices on the Loop, about getting ready to cruise America’s Great Loop. Our canvas man, they wrote, “made many trips between his shop and the boat, fitting stanchions and canvas” for their longer, zip-off bimini. “In the end, it’s a fine job.”

BoatUS has stood up for recreational boaters since 1966, and its magazine, sent to more than half a million members, is the most widely circulated boating publication. In its story “Members Share Their Best Boat Makeovers,” a member who restored a Shamrock 220 wrote: “Then we took the boat over to Omni Marine for a custom T-top, swim platform, and canvas.”
